DELF for Schools & Junior
Intended for:
secondary school students.
Levels and skills assessed:
A1 to B2 – Oral and written comprehension and expression.
The DELF Junior and DELF for Schools (Delf Scolaire) include both written and oral components, designed for secondary school students (between the ages of 12 and 18).
The DELF Junior is intended for secondary school students who want to have their French language skills assessed and recognized by an internationally-recognized diploma, outside of a classroom environment. Registration is on an individual basis, unlike the DELF for Schools, which is organized under the auspices of educational authorities.
The DELF for Schools (Delf Scolaire) is usually the result of an agreement between a public or private educational authority and the CIEP. It can be, to some extent, integrated into the school curriculum.
The DELF for Schools and DELF Junior examinations are identical, except for the circumstances in which each exam is taken.
